The south-west monsoon departed from Delhi-NCR on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, this time the departure of monsoon has been delayed by a week. In this monsoon season, a total of 1029.9 mm rainfall has been recorded since June 1. This is 61 percent more than normal. After two years there has been more than 1000 mm rainfall in monsoon. Earlier, 1169.7 mm rainfall was recorded in 2021, 516.9 mm in 2022 and 6089 mm in 2023.
